I remember a time where I would spend hours on Sunday following up with everybody I had ever contacted in my tenure as a coach.
I would simply send them a “hey, how’s your summer going” type message to reopen our lines of communication.
The result of doing such an activity was HUGE for expanding my network and creating a more meaningful connection with the people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting.
This strategy would have NEVER been possible if I didn’t have a tracking system for the people I’ve spoken to and when, and through which medium.
My tracking system served me in so many ways which is why I think its important that we talk about how you can implement one for your growing contact sheet as well.
